Terms of service

Last updated August 24, 2026

The service

Farlang lets registered users send questions by SMS and receive AI-generated responses. You are responsible for your account, the phones you link, and your use of the service.

SMS consent

Linking a phone by texting LINK followed by your one-time code, or starting a conversation from a verified phone, opts that phone in to Farlang conversational and service messages. SMS linking is optional and is not a condition of purchase, but it is required to use Farlang by text. We do not send SMS marketing. Message frequency varies with the messages you send and service activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to stop messages. Reply START to resume or HELP for help. You can also unlink a phone from the Farlang website.

The complete SMS opt-in instructions are publicly available.

AI responses

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Farlang is not an emergency service and should not be relied on for urgent, medical, legal, financial, or other high-stakes decisions.

Acceptable use

Do not use Farlang unlawfully, to harm others, to interfere with the service, to evade usage limits, or to send abusive or automated traffic. We may limit or disable accounts that violate these terms or threaten the service or others.

Plans and payments

Paid plans, passes, included usage, metered charges, and applicable prices are shown before purchase. Recurring plans continue until canceled. You can manage or cancel them from Billing. Except where the law requires otherwise, charges already incurred are not refundable.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Farlang and may update these terms. The service is provided as available, without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how Farlang processes information, including mobile numbers, SMS consent, and message content.
