Privacy policy

Farlang processes the information needed to provide the service, including your account details, verified or linked phone numbers, messages you send and receive, plan and payment status, and service usage and delivery records.

We use this information to authenticate you, link your phone, answer your requests, deliver SMS messages, operate billing, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and keep the service secure. Message content may be sent to an AI provider to generate your requested reply.

We use service providers including Clerk for authentication, Twilio for SMS, Stripe for payments, Convex for application data, and AI providers for response generation. They process data on our behalf to provide those functions. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users.

We do not sell your mobile number or SMS opt-in information. We do not share that information with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. It is shared only with providers that help us deliver and operate Farlang messages, or when legally required.

Message frequency varies with your use. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop messages, START to resume, or HELP for help. You can unlink phones, manage account information, and delete your account from the Account page.

Farlang's Privacy Officer is responsible for our privacy practices. To ask a privacy question, request access to or correction of your information, request deletion, or make a complaint, email privacy@farlang.ai. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Farlang and its service providers may process information outside Québec and Canada. The privacy and law-enforcement rules in those locations may differ from those where you live. Contact the Privacy Officer to ask about our service providers or processing locations.

We retain information while your account is active and as needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
